anybody have one of these? they look pretty cool from the videos i've seen. are they pretty fast? hows the battery life?

Mine are all nitro powered but my hobby shop guy has one that he plays with when there are no customers it's cool i thought about getting one,he said it might do like 25mpr and it runs for about 10min strong but then from there the battery's start to die,but it's a fun little son of a gun.

Cannot find battery pack for this,
Label on the bottom of the box says: the battery included in this toy is intended for in-store demonstration purpose only. And the battery back really lasts only for ~30secs after charging. To make it worse I didn’t find a compatible pack to order – this one provides 7.2V and 9.6V on its connector. Apparently quite unusual setup.

Absolute junk,
This product didn’t last 3 days. The transmitter antennae broke the first day. After about an hour of play, the battery pack was dead and wouldn’t recharge. $50+ down the drain. Don’t waste your money.

@PhillieBRidin i think you should go to your local hobby store and get the hpi e-firestorm 10ht … i have it and it is fun as hell! and its only 189.99 at hobytown usa .. and thats were i got it. if u go on traxxas.com and u click on find a dealer near you and then type in your zip code you can find 1 near ur house. hope i helped!

I had a question i just bought one of theses the other day and i should be getting it any time now and its the beginning of December and there is snow where im at and i was wondering if i could make the engine water proof some so my RC don’t get damaged from the snow and the wetness. I looked on NitroRCX.com and couldn’t find anything?

Is the plastic strong? And is it easy to replace the brushed motors for brushless cuz i wanted to use it for mud bogging and crawling. Oh and how do i water proof the motors? I know how to water proof everything else. Im gonna get ten of these from your website if i know how to do this stuff.

@ipodrulerz99 Hey Ipodrulerz99! Because it is a hobby, you are more than welcomed to customize the crawler and waterproof the engines as it does not come waterproof
