I hate to select toys for our little boy, but I do not have to. My wife selects most and he gets an amazing number of gifts from well-meaning friends and relatives. One of the recent gifts is this Chicco remote-controlled robot. He enjoys seeing it wobble around and hearing it emit laughing and giggling sounds, electronic noises sounding like a defective R2D2 and flashing brightly-colored lights. It works somewhat like robot vacuum cleaners gong backward and forward in irregular patterns. He does not know how to operate it as yet so we operate if for him. It is a fun thing to diddle around with. The boy seems somewhat in awe and the cats run for cover. One of these days he will get onto how the remote control works and then his interest should pick up markedly. In any case, it is a rather weird toy. I would never choose it, but it was a gift and the boy seems to enjoy it.

Our seven month old granddaughter just loves this! It moves all around and makes lots of funny noises – - she’ll play with it for a much longer time than other toys. Highly recommend for all babies just starting to sit up and play.

Flying a R/C helicopter is equal to standing in a hammock and trying to have sex… ie very hard!!!

scyfox @ 4:51 pm #

You could try adding those mini cameras where you placed the bbpellets and have an aerial cam shots :)

@blackhawk438 I agree flying a CP heli is VERY hard if you start with one. If you progress from a 4 channel to a cp heli it isn’t too bad though.

blackhawk438 @ 6:51 pm #

@Giovanniram22 Thats true. I would floor another helicopter but never mine.

Giovanniram22 @ 7:30 pm #

I allways see that when somebody takes anothers plane take more risks and fly with more confidence than when is flying his qwn model.
The same when somebody knows that after a crash he will be out of the hobby for a couple of months if not more. Certainly he will fly with fear and he will not have the same development with another with a couple of models ready made in case of a crash.
Everything (or most of it) ends at the economical part unfortunately.

I like indoor hellicopters the best

blackhawk438 @ 8:44 pm #

@Giovanniram22 Depends on the helicpter size etc. A 450 could possibly be afordable, a 700 could not be. This is a 450 helicopter. You still do have the same difficulty though. Its just as hard for them to learn to fly as it is for you to. This man was not sponsored anyway. People can be sponsored but it doesn’t make them better, They will learn quicker but not any faster than if you had the money to pay as quickly as well

@blackhawk438
You must say also that IS VERY HARD TO FLY for a kid who doesnt have his own money or a Guy who doesnt have much money to spare.
BUT SAYING that this guy on Video or other Rc shop owners or with a sponsor behide him has the same difficulty to learn new or basic tricks IS NOT TRUE. I would like to see if you could afford only the crashes he filmed. And you could lough the same?
