Yes, the Vectron Wave does function as advertised. It is durable. I would not recommend it for kids less than 6 years old, unless you are going to give a lot of adult supervision. Though the Vectron Wave responds well to hands placed in its path as an obstacle, little hands may not provide enough of an obstacle for the device to sense and hover above, and little folks often lack the dexterity and concentration to make it move through the air like in the commercial.

RC Helicopters 101: Best to Start with a Dual or Single Rotor Model?

In the past, RC helicopters were very much the red-headed stepchild of radio control flying. Expensive and difficult to master, some hobbyists had really bad experiences trying to fly them or, having heard the horror stories from others, never even attempted it in the first place. Today, thanks to improvements that have made them less difficult for beginners to fly, and the introduction of a wide variety of models at lower prices, RC helicopters are drawing new enthusiasts at a faster clip than any other division of remote control aviation.

There are 3 main types of RC helicopters: Coaxial, Fixed Pitch (FP) and Collective Pitch (CP). Unlike Fixed and Collective Pitch models, coaxials have dual main rotors and no tail rotor, allowing them to operate at relatively constant speeds. They are by far the easiest and safest for beginners to fly, are more stable and less complicated, and typically cost less than their conventional counterparts.

Both Fixed and Collective Pitch RC helicopters employ a single main and a tail rotor and generate torque in a different fashion than do coaxial models. They are less stable and less forgiving, and will take longer to learn to control, though some FPs are not that much harder to learn to fly than a coaxial. In terms of required skills, a CP will have the steepest learning curve of all RC helicopters, and are not really a good choice for those without prior flying experience. While most who are serious about RC helicopters do at some point own and fly Collective Pitch, they are best come to after you've learned the basics on a less demanding (and safer) coaxial or Fixed Pitch heli.

The Sky Trooper by Megatech is a military style 2-channel helicopter that is both easy to fly, highly maneuverable and can be flown indoors or out. It has a bright LED searchlight and flashing navigational lights for night flying. The Ready-to-Fly (RTF) Venom Beacon is a great beginner RC helicopter that also works well for intermediate level pilots. It's a semi-scale model with working LED navigation lights and includes a 4-channel 2.4GHz Ch FM control system for secure, error freeflying. For experienced pilots, the Align T-Rex CP helis are a blast. Smallest in the line, the T-Rex 250 is a very agile helicopter, approximately 17" by 10" and comes almost-ready-to-fly (ARF) or as a kit. The T-Rex 450, 500 and 600 are also available as kits and various ARF packages. The T-Rex 600 is approximately 46" long by 16" tall. It's really a privilege to study in your class, and it helps me a lot. You have shown us a video about the XXXXX Aircraft. It is a very beautiful aircraft and has very advanced aerodynamics, I'm very interested in it.

About aviation, it has always interested me. When I was young, I was very good at drawing, and always got the first place in competitions. So everybody just said I would be a very good artist.
In senior high school, I became very interested in military aircraft, and some of my classmates had the same interests too, maybe because we are really men*. So every weekend we spent a lot of time searching for some news about Chinese aircraft in magazines in a bookstore, and compared our planes with American aircraft. We always spent a lot of time there reading books but never bought anything, what made the shop keeper very unhappy. But that was a good time for us, and at that time I've obtained a lot of basic knowledge about aircraft.
At last I gave up the thoughts of becoming an artist, to study about aviation.

I graduated at the Nanchang Hangkong University (Nanchang University of Aeronautics), majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
When I was in college, I liked to play flight simulators on my computer. It really costs much money for a computer that runs them, but I learned a lot from it. X-Plane 9, Flight Simulator X, DCS: Blackshark and Falcon 4.7 - they are all very good. Some of them have many kinds of airplanes, and they are very realistic.
I always tried to introduce people to these simulators, but they all said it's too complicated. Now I need to learn more about it, because I've never tried it the way you have shown in the video.

I am also fond of flying RC airplane models, and I've made some kind of airplane models by myself. Some of them flied well, but some crashed. I think my flight skill is good, though. I have a T-Rex 450 clone helicopter, and I can fly it upside down. Once I participated in an innovation competition of my college, and I made a very small flapping-wing UAV. It was weighted less than 10g, with a wingspan of around twenty centimeters. It looked like a big butterfly. Because of its light weight, the stability was a bit unacceptable, and it can't be controlled. The teacher liked it, however, so I got the first place.
The following year I found that a student did a flapping-wing aircraft too, much bigger and faster than mine, and it could be controlled. It was really a good job. At that time we communicated a lot.

Now at work, we are designing an amphibian aircraft, which will be the largest of its kind in the world.
I am in the general arrangement department and currently am responsible for the Environmental Control System layout. Throughout this job I've learnt a lot about this system, and other systems as well.
I also stayed in the factory as an intern for some time and learnt the manufacturing and assembly technologies and processes.

I've enclosed my college courses and the scores in the attached Excel file for your reference. I am not sure if I am qualified for your University, as you have your own requirements.

One thing I forget to tell you is that there is another place in China you really don't want to miss.

I walked into this store knowing zero about anything that works with a remote control, except my TV. Having read a few reviews about the Syma S 107 I started to become interested in seeing what it's all about. I have always wanted to learn to fly RC Helicopters, but everyone says Helicopters are extremely difficult to fly and easy to crash. Money was issue number one. They are (or used to be) very expensive.

I ended up buying a Syma S 107 for less than . I opened the box at home and inside the box what this little helicopter that fits in the palm of my hand. First thing I liked about the Syma S 107 was that everything is simple to do. Just follow the instructions. It comes with a USB cable to charge from your PC, or you can charge the batteries with the transmitter.

Also included is a spare tail rotor, because you never know when you will need one, hey. By the way you don't have to assemble anything, it come ready to fly out of the box.

The control is very easy to get used to, straight forward. I turned the little Helicopter on and it took off very easily. Oh boy was this a big surprise!! The Syma S107 is so easy to fly, it is so incredibly stable.

The controls are precise, hovering is easily achievable and both forward and reverse movement along with left and right directions are accurate.The frame is metal, covered with a hardened plastic, and the blades are hinged on the top rotor, so they will give if they strike anything.

Being inexperienced I flew it strait into walls and it just keeps going. I bent the rotor shaft a little, but sort of fixed it and the Syma 107 just keep going. If it wasn't for the fact that the batteries lasts only about 6 minutes, I would never get anything done, at all. Boys and their toys.

I believe the amazing stability is due to the Gyroscope technology in the rotors. A bar with weights at both ends. It makes maneuvering a piece of cake I'll tell you. If you are a beginner, the Syma S 107 will be ideal for you. If you do end up crashing in a really big way, you can easily and cheaply repair the Helicopter.

This is a very hard topic. I have bought the havoc heli and i loved it. It still works and i bought it last year. The only problem is that you HAVE to be EXTREMELY careful. These are very fragile. I have had a few run-ins with the ceiling fan and was relieved it worked. I would recommend the Havoc Heli because I have owned and used one for a year.
